Disney+ comes with new content this September for MENA countries

The Walt Disney Company continues to make headway in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Launched in 16 markets across the MENA region a couple of months back,  the OTT giant now brings new content for the MENA subscribers. On September 8, marking the  Disney+ Day celebrations, the line-up will feature global premieres from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and general entertainment from Star.

The new line-up includes:

Pinocchio: A wooden puppet’s journey to becoming a real boy, directed by Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis, the movie stars Tom Hanks, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cynthia Erivo, Keegan-Michael Key, Lorraine Bracco, and Luke Evans. 

Mike: The eight-episode limited series explores the controversial story of Mike Tyson. From the creator and screenwriter Steve Rogers, Mike explores the peak and valleys of Tyson’s boxing career and personal life.

Cars on the road: The series follows Lightning McQueen and his best friend Mater as they head east from Radiator Springs on a cross-country road trip to meet with Mater’s sister. Produced by Marc Sondheimer, the nine episodes are directed by Steve Purcell, Bobby Podesta, and Brian Fee.

Thor – Love and Thunder: Marvel Studios’ creation revolves around the God of Thunder, played by Chris Hemsworth, who is on a journey of self-discovery. But his efforts are interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr – the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale, who seeks the extinction of the gods. The cosmic adventure also stars Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman.

Welcome to the Club: A new short from The Simpsons. The quintessential Simpsons have never failed to surprise the viewers. In the new short, Lisa Simpson is surprised to learn how being bad can be a lot of fun.

The line-up doesn’t end here and includes big shows and movies like She Hulk, Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory, Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return, Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder, Tierra Incognita, and Wedding Season.
